Granola Cookies
Tasty tea time cookies,even suitable for kiddie lunch box.
Ingredients you'll need are
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup Whole Wheat flour
1/2 cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoon butter
2 table spoon olive oil
2 tablespoon orange juice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 organic egg
1 cup granola cereal(Store bought or as in this recipe)
1/4 cup cherries or raisins
To make Granola cookies
Into a large bowl,mix flour, sugar, melted butter, orange juice, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, oil,salt, and lightly whipped egg until well blended. Stir in granola and raisins.
Make flat rounds with palm of your hands and lay on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
Remove a and let cool completely on a rack.
Makes about 1 dozen granola cookies.
