With natural products, it can be hard enough at times working out if something works or not. And to know the best actual dose is harder this. I've thought for a long time that many people take too much omega-3....some products say 2-4 capsules, 1-3 times a day and recommended doses can be 3000 mg/day or higher.
Don't forget that fish oil is...fat. You don't want to be eating more fat than necessary.
New research has shown that in terms of improving cardiovascular health, the dose needed is just 200 mg/day of DHA - much less than most people take and usually much less than the recommended dose.
